I just wanted to send you an email to provide some customer feedback regarding Mccalls On-line.

Prior to buying a Yamaha AV Receiver on-line I was a little dubious. Eg buying an expensive AV receiver from Sydney and then sending it to Adelaide by courier without mishaps may not prove to be so simple. All my reservations were unfounded after I liased with Jeremy (and other staff members) and learned that you are an Authorised Yamaha Dealer. Furthermore, the AV receiver was sent within hours of my order being made and all communications with you were responded to promptly. To anyone wondering why I did not buy the same product in Adelaide the answer was simple. I could buy my new Yamaha RX-A3020 receiver from Mccalls for the same price as a second hand demo unit in Adelaide.

Anyway, the new receiver worked perfectly for a few weeks but glitched. Eg It would not switch on. I went through the troubleshooting guide in the manual but the receiver still would not switch on. Next, I contacted Yamaha Australia who advised me to send it back to the store that I purchased it from. Number one, I was extremely unfortunate to have any problem from a Yamaha AV receiver as these things are bullet proof. So don’t let my story put off anyone from buying one. Secondly, this is where I was to find out more about Mccalls customer service.

I phoned Mccalls On-line to let them know that I was returning my Yamaha RX-A3020 receiver based on advice from Yamaha Australia. I was in a stressed state but Jeremy took all of the stress away. He explained that they sometimes glitch unexpectedly and need to be unplugged from the wall socket for an extended time not just for a few minutes. When he plugged in the AV receiver it switched on straight away!

However, he did agree that this should not happen with a new receiver.

He contacted Yamaha Australia and went in to bat for me and secured a brand new current model Yamaha RX-A3030 for me that he sent to me straight away. I was kept informed every step of the way and learnt that these guys really know their equipment. I found Jeremy’s assistance and co-operation and knowledge invaluable. Furthermore I think he deserves to be commended for his approach, and helpfulness for excellence in customer service. At all times I was kept informed and dealt with in a courteous manner by all staff members of Mccalls On-line.

For anyone who doubts my sincerity in this matter please let me be clear. Had they sent back my originally purchased Yamaha RX-A3020 I would still be writing this email to commend them on their excellence in customer service.

I would have no hesitation in buying further products from them or recommending them to anyone I know.

I am writing to say thank you and well done to your business. I rang you yesterday and spoke to a gentleman, I wanted to buy a specific Blu Ray DVD Player, I also wanted it delivered today. He quickly check stock, told me exactly what he would do, explained the risks around getting it to me in time and said he would call me with any possible problems. The item arrived early this morning!

May I just say how wonderfully impressed I was with the advice and service provided by the sales team in relation to the installation of the sound system at my home.The whole experience was seamless.  How impressive - four guys from McCalls turned up yesterday to install the system.

I have always been a raving fan of McCalls - yesterday was just the icing on the cake.
